AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION

- To commemorate the lives of all those who died serving aboard "HMS NEPTUNE".
- To preserve the memory of "HMS NEPTUNE".
- To serve as a focus point for information about "HMS NEPTUNE" and those who served in her.
- To place relatives of the crew in touch with each other - To unravel the mysteries surrounding the loss of "HMS NEPTUNE" - To maintain regular communications via the "HMS NEPTUNE" website
- To hold two meetings per year at different venues around the country.
- To build a Memorial to commemorate those who died in the two ships Neptune and Kandahar (dedicated at Alrewas July 2005).
- To publish two newsletters annually (Spring and Autumn).
- To achieve charitable status for the association (granted 2004).

IT IS PROPOSED THAT THE ASSOCIATION SHOULD RUN FOR AN INITIAL FIVE YEARS, FOLLOWING WHICH IT WILL BE REVIEWED AND RECONSIDERED
