The Neptune Association
AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION

  1. To commemorate the lives of all those who died serving aboard "HMS NEPTUNE".
  2. To preserve the memory of "HMS NEPTUNE".
  3. To serve as a focus point for information about "HMS NEPTUNE" and those who served in her.
    - To place relatives of the crew in touch with each other
    - To unravel the mysteries surrounding the loss of "HMS NEPTUNE"
    - To maintain regular communications via the "HMS NEPTUNE" website
  4. To hold two meetings per year at different venues around the country.
  5. To build a Memorial to commemorate those who died in the two ships Neptune and Kandahar (dedicated at Alrewas July 2005).
  6. To publish two newsletters annually (Spring and Autumn).
  7. To achieve charitable status for the association (granted 2004).

IT IS PROPOSED THAT THE ASSOCIATION SHOULD RUN FOR AN INITIAL FIVE YEARS, FOLLOWING WHICH IT WILL BE REVIEWED AND RECONSIDERED
